Deer River Bible Church is a fundamental, independent, non-denominational church ministry located in Deer River, Minnesota, a community of just under 900 residents. Deer River is about 15 miles west of Grand Rapids, a community with a population of about 8,000.

Deer River Bible Church (DRBC) was incorporated in 1991. DRBC began in the spring of 1986 with an evening Bible study in Deer River. In 1988, a morning worship service and Sunday school ministries were begun at the Deer River arena. The present church property was purchased in 1990, and construction of the initial church building began in the summer of 1991. A 5,000 sq. ft. addition to the original facilities was completed in 2002. A second addition of 1,800 sq. ft. was added to the church building in 2004. Construction of debt-free facilities has taken place through the years by God’s provision through the gifts and labors of His people. We continue to improve our facilities and remain debt free.

DRBC has held faithfully to teachings of the Holy Spirit inspired, inerrant, all-sufficient Word of God, the Bible. We believe and teach the Bible as God’s revelation to mankind with all the answers for life and eternity. The foundation of these answers rests upon the gospel message of salvation and forgiveness of sins, which God makes available to all who by repentance and faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection on their behalf place their trust in Him. Further, we believe that the local Church, part of the body and bride of Christ, exists to build up the believers to Christ-likeness and spread the gospel to the unsaved everywhere. Throughout its history DRBC has remained Biblical, dispensational in theology, non-ecumenical and non-charismatic in practice, and conservative and Christ-honoring in worship. Our constitution, doctrinal statement, church covenant, and policies help to ensure our steadfastness in the faith once delivered into our trust.
