Deer River Bible Church
We would love to have you join us this Sunday!
What are the services like?
We typically hold three services per week in person. Sunday school begins at 9:00am, our main worship service begins at 10:00am and is also on Zoom, and our Wednesday Bible Study is at 6:00pm and is also on Zoom.
Our services are a combination of singing, praying, Bible reading, and Bible preaching/teaching. We make it a point to focus our hearts on glorifying and worshiping the Lord. Our song style is conservative with a mix of traditional and modern hymns. You won’t experience anything unusual or bizarre here. We steer away from entertainment and formalism.
You can expect to be welcomed by our friendly greeters at the door and then directed to the location of the service.
How should I dress?
We want you to know that we welcome anyone who comes through our doors no matter what they are wearing. God sees the heart first and is most concerned with inside. Our hearts are our foremost concern.
Most at DRBC do come dressed smart casual or business casual. Church is not a place for us to impress others with how we dress. God is our central focus and our attention should be on Him, not on our outward appearance.
No matter how you come we’ll be glad you’re here!
What about our children?
We have nursery available for ages 3 and under. We take care in choosing nursery workers and take precautions to ensure the safety of all the children who attend.
For Sunday school we offer specific classes for each age group from 3 to 12th grade – all are welcome!
For our main worship service, if your child is 4 through 2nd grade, they may attend the first part of the service with you and later they can attend children’s church which will be dismissed before the preaching begins.
We want you to know that we welcome children of all ages to sit through the service with you if that is what you prefer. We love to see the little ones come to church with you!
